Questions we get asked

Including the ones that are hardest for us to answer.

Isn’t one platform a single point of failure?

It is the fair objection, and the honest answer is architectural: capabilities fail independently, and it runs across multiple nodes with failover. But the sharper answer is arithmetic. Ten tools leave forty-five places where two systems must be joined, each built by hand and watched by nobody. You are not adding a point of failure — you are removing nine seams. And if you self-manage, the uptime is genuinely in your hands.

How do I know I’m not locked in?

Because leaving stays cheap by design. Every edge speaks the standards your estate already speaks, so any single capability can be pulled out and replaced with somebody else’s. Data export is a contractual commitment, not a favour. Consolidation should reduce your risk, not transfer it to us.

We already own SailPoint and Okta. Why change?

Often you should not — not all at once, anyway. Start where the pain has a deadline: usually recertification, before the next audit. If that pays for itself, the next conversation is easy. If it does not, you have lost a quarter, not a stack.

Do we have to replace everything at once?

No, and we would advise against it. Land on one capability, prove it in a quarter, expand only after. Teams that switch everything on in month one are the ones that struggle.

Can it run where our regulator requires?

Yes. Our cloud with a region you choose, your own private cloud, your own datacentre, or an isolated environment with no route out. See deployment.

Are you just adding AI-agent security because it’s fashionable?

It is fashionable, and every major vendor now ships it — we say so plainly on the comparison page. It is table stakes, not our differentiator. What is ours is delivering it in your own environment, joined up with recertification and privileged access rather than sold as a separate product with a separate record.

What does it take from our team?

One owner with the authority to decide what a role means, a trustworthy HR feed, and the patience to prove one capability before switching on the next. Details on operations.

What don’t you do well?

Ready-made agent-platform integrations, the longest sign-on catalogue, and the deepest single-category analytics. If one of those decides your purchase, somebody else should win it. The full list is on why QueGuard.
